Spandex Nation

About the act

Spandex Nation is a Las Vegas '80s hair-metal and arena-rock party band founded and fronted by Peter Monroy, whose stage persona is Kid Hollywood. Peter grew up in Los Angeles during the Sunset Strip era, moved to Las Vegas in 1998, and relaunched his '80s band as Spandex Nation in 2014.

Long-time favorites on the Fremont Street Experience main stage, the band has also appeared at Harrah's Carnaval Court and Level Up at MGM Grand, alongside national touring and casino showroom dates.

Big hair, gaudy costumes and a feel-good party show pay homage to Mötley Crüe, Van Halen, Whitesnake, Poison, RATT, Dokken and Bon Jovi. Hits include Girls, Girls, Girls, Jump and Livin' on a Prayer, alongside the band's original song Let's Get Loco. Family-friendly versions of the show are also available.
